Lancer Miniatures have been expanding their growing range of 10mm figures recently and as usual I found it hard to resist ordering some to see how they painted up, (actually, that is not strictly true, Lancer sent me a sample of their 38t ausf c, and it looked so good I ordered a few more).
So, armed with 6 Panzer lll f's ( these have been available for a little while now) and 3 Panzer 38's, I got out the airbrush and Mission Models excellent airbrush paints and set to work.
First up, I painted three Panzer lll's in DAK colours for the Western Desert,
After a wash of raw umber acrylic paint and some highlights, I added some tank markings and a coat of matt varnish.
Thses really are super little tanks and again I simply sprayed them Panzer Grey, Raw Umber wash and a dry brush of Panzer Grey with a little White added.
As with the Panzer lll's, I still need to paint on tank markings and give them a coat of matt varnish, well its Friday night and its been a really tough week, so its time for a beer or three. tank marking can wait till tomorrow.
Cheers!

I was more than happy with the end result.
Next up, three Pz lll's in Panzer Grey.
I followed the same routine as the DAK tanks, after a coating of Mission Models Panzer Grey, I gave them all a Raw Umber wash and dry brushed each vehicle with Panzer Grey and white mixed together.
At the time of taking these pictures I had not got around to either adding tank markings or varnishing them, something I will do later.
Finally, I assembled the Panzer 38's, unlike the Panzer lll's they come with separate tank tracks, but are so easy to attach even I couldn't get them wrong.
