Perry Miniatures 28mm Napoleonic French Line Infantry

 I recently completed a boxed set of Perry Plastic Napoleonic French Infantry.  These figures were released by Perry Miniatures a good while ago now but still represent very good value for money and are are great way to get a 28mm French army started.

There are loads of reviews of these figures elsewhere on the web so I am not going to go into too much detail except to say that they are straight forward to assemble, I find it useful to wash them in warm soapy water prior to painting just to remove any grease which may cause problems when you come to apply the paint.

I undercoated these figures in white primer then painted the main colours on except white (already done with the primer), and yellow.  Once that's done I give the whole figure a wash of Army Painter Strong Tone wash (the little dropper bottle, not the stuff from the tins).  When that is dry, I highlight using the original colour, add the yellow and redo the white, that,s it.

The whole 42 figures took about 20 hours work including assembly, washing and drying time.
